Një portret pak i njohur i Princeshës Dora D'Istria --> Elena Gjika i cili është realizuar nga piktori shquar venecian Felice Schiavone. Këtu është edhe një nga shkrimet e mia mbi kërë princeshë. Me që jemi në ditë mbretërish e princërish le të kujtojmë edhe këtë princeshë e cila është ne zemrat e çdo shqiptari.

Lion of St Mark at Vuno Albania discovered during the 1° World War in the 1918. Photograph from gen. George P. Scriven. Within the circle of the Castle of Himara there is an entire neighborhood build in stone with large windows in Dalmatian-Venetian style, which shows that the influence of the Republic of Venice in these areas has been prominent for centuries. The bas-relief with the figure of the lion of St. Mark was in Vuno Himara until 1947 and then was transferred to the Archaeological Museum of Tirana.

Luani i Shen Markut ne Vuno te Shqiperise eshte zbuluar gjate luftes se pare boterore ne vitin 1918. Fotografi e realizuar nga gjenerali George P. Scriven. Brenda rrethit te Kalase se Himares egziston nje lagje ndertesash prej guri me dritare te medha, te stilit dalmato-venecian, gje qe deshmon se ndikimi i Republikes se Venecias ne keto zona ka qenë shume shekullor. Reliefi me figuren e luanit te Shen Markut ka qene ne Vuno te Himares, deri ne vitin 1947 e me pas eshte trasferuar ne Muzeun Arkeologjik te Tiranes.
 
Tirana in the '30s-'40s (20th century). The first part of the old bazar with the Orthodox Cathedral it was destroyed during the communist dictatorship. Today in place of the Cathedral there is the Tirana International Hotel and in place of the old bazar there is "The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet" and the "Palace of Culture".

Tirana në vitet '30-'40 (shekulli i 20-te). Pjesa e parë e pazarit të vjetër me katedralen ortodokse u shkatërrua gjatë diktaturës komuniste. Sot në vend të Katedrales është "Hotel Tirana International" dhe në vend të pazarit të vjetër është "Teatri Kombëtar i Operas dhe Baletit" si dhe "Pallati i Kulturës".
