Opel i ka dhënë fund prodhimit të modelit Tigra, i cili përndryshe ishte krijuar në bashkëpunim me kompaninë franceze Heuliez.

Prodhimi i këtij modeli kupe-kabriolet ka filluar në pranverën e vitit 2004 dhe prej atëherë është prodhuar në 90.000 njësi.

Siç po qëndrojnë gjërat për momentin, në Opel nuk kanë plane që në treg të hedhin trashëguesin e këtij automjeti me dy ulëse dhe kulm të fortë.
