IQ-ja përcaktohet përmes testeve të ndryshme, të cilat janë kryesisht me figura dhe pyetje matematikore.

Rezultati i inteligjencës mesatare është nga 85-114 pikë, ndërsa mbi 145 cilësohet si një gjeni.
