Hakan Shykyr, ish-sulmuesi i njohur turk, e ka përsëritur për të disatën herë faktin e origjinës së tij, se nuk është një turk, por një shqiptar. “Jam shqiptar. Kam ngrënë bukë në Turqi, por unë jam një shqiptar”, tha Shykyr në Universitetin “Mehmet Akif Ersoy”, ku i pranishëm ishte edhe presidenti turk, Rexhep Taip Erdogan, i cili në fjalën e tij tha: “Le të mos ndahemi në turq, kurdë apo shqiptarë! Ne jemi një qeveri që e pranon çdo lloj nacionaliteti në vendin tonë. Edhe poeti Mehmet Akif, ai që thuri vargjet e himnit turk ishte shqiptar. Vëllai ynë Hakan Shykyr është një shqiptar, i cili e veshi më shumë se çdokush tjetër fanellën e kombëtares tonë. Ai është një bir i këtij kombi”, tha Erdogan për shënuesin më të mirë në historinë e kombëtares turke. I njohur me nofkën “Demi i Bosforit”, ai u bë një legjendë te Gallatasaraji ku fitoi 14 tituj

Duhet te jete e vjeter kjo sepse sot per sot Shukur eshte ne Usa, rexha e kerkon per dhjame qeni!
