Një tjetër sasi e konsiderueshme kanabis sativa ka tentuar të trafikohet përtej Adriatikut nëpërmjet trageteve të linjës Durrës-Bari.

Sasia prej 621 kilogramesh e ndare ne 298 pako eshte gjetur e fshehur ne pjesen fundore te automjetit tip Renault me targa te Shkodres qe drejtohej nga 33 vjecari Aldoid Gjoni me banim ne Tirane. Gjoni eshte arrestuar ne flagrance ne oren 05.00 te mengjesit te sotem, nderkohe qe grupi hetimor po punon si zakonisht per zbardhjen e personave te tjere te implikuar ne kete rast te ri te goditjes se trafikut te narkotikeve.

Dy jave me pare nje tjeter sasi prej 202 kilogramë cannabis sativa dhe 10 kg heroine u sekuestruan gjate kontrollit te ushtruar ne piken e automjeteve, ndersa ne fund te dhjetorit qene sekuestruar 797 kg te tjere te bimes narkotike.

Trafikimi mes dy brigjeve te Adriatikut i kesaj bime narkotike nga hedhja e se ciles ne tregun europian sigurohen fitime kolosale.
