Kandidati i Partisë Demokratike për Bashkinë e Tiranës, Lulzim Basha doli në orët e mbrëmjes në një konferencë për mediat nga selia blu ku tha se do të kërkojë nga KQZ shqyrtimin e të gjitha votave të kontestuara, pavarësisht të se kujt kandidati i përkasin. “Unë e kam thënë që në fillim, si kur kryesoja garën ashtu edhe kur nuk e kryesoja. Votat duhet të numërohen, saktësisht dhe zëri cdo qytetari duhet të dëgjohet. Do t’i kërkoj KQZ të shqyrtojë cdo votë të kontestuar, pa përjashtim dhe pavarësisht se cilin kandidat favorizon, sepse cdo votë duhet t’i jepet mundësia të numërohet dhe zërit të cdo qytetari duhet të dëgjohet. Gjatë këtij procesi unë mund të fitoj ose mund të humbas vota por padyshim Tirana do të ketë fituar, procesi i rregullt e demokratik do të ketë fituar”, tha zoti Basha.
