Me rastin e 40 vjetorit të udhëtimit të parë në Hënë, Google, në programin e saj Google Earth, që mundëson shikim të detajizuar të incizimeve satelitore të Tokës, e ka shtuar edhe Hënën.

Hëna në këtë mënyrë i është bashkuar Marsit i cili tashmë një kohë ekziston si opsion në Google Earth, i cili gjithnjë e më shumë lirohet nga kufizimi tokësor dhe merr kahe për në drejtim të sistemit diellor.

Duke shikuar fotografitë e Hënës të cilat janë realizuar gjatë kohës së misionit Apollo, Google jep mundësinë edhe të përcjelljes së zbarkimit në Hënë të realizuar në kuadër të programit Apollo, video pjesë, modele tredimensionale të hënës dhe shumë të tilla.

Disa prej materialeve të Google Earth mund t’i gjeni edhe në faqen Google Moon duke mos instaluar asnjë softuer shtesë.
