Pas vitesh përpjekje të vazhdueshme dy specialistë në fushën e tekstileve në Britani kanë realizuar projektin e tyre, krijimin e fustanit më të madh të krijuar nga fijet e rrjetës së merimangës.

Anglezët Simon Peers dhe Nocholas Godley pas katër vitesh punë ekspozuan më në fund, në “Victoria & Albert” në kryeqytetin britanik, fustanin me fije ngjyrë floriri.

Sipas tyre një fije e vetme floriri përbëhet nga plot 96 fije të rrjetës së merimangës, dhe në total fustani ka 200 mijë të tilla.

Por një nismë e tillë ka shqetësuar organizatat për mbrotjen e kafshëve të cilat janë shprehur kundër veprimeve të tilla./gazetaidea/
