Jim Denevan , nje serfist nga West Coast, e ka zbuluar talentin e tij gati rastesisht.


Ne vitin 1996, duke ecur ne plazh, mori nje shkop druri dhe filloi te vizatonte. Rezultati ishte nje peshk i mrekullueshem me nje gjatesi 3 metra e gjysem. Qe atehere, Denevan llogarit qe ka ecur rreth 3 mije kilometra, per te bere me shume se 600 'piktura' rere.
