Shfletuesi i internetit Chrome nga kompania Google që prej paraqitjes së tij është bërë konkurrenti kryesor i atij Apple Safari në tregun e shfletuesve super të shpejtë të internetit, por assesi nuk ia dilte që të del në vendin e parë të më të shpejtëve.

Duket se gjërat megjithatë kanë ndryshuar me paraqitjen e versionit eksperimental të shfletuesit Chrome (3.0.196.0) i cili ka shtojcën "whisper it".

Versioni i ri, sipas të gjitha gjasave, sjell me vete përshpejtim prej 30 për qind më të madh sesa në atë paraprak, derisa ekspertët e kësaj lëmie pohojnë se Chrome aktualisht është dyfish më i shpejtë sesa Mozilla Firefox 3.5, e madje tetë herë më i shpejtë sesa Internet Explorer 8.
