Nje informaticien gjerman ka publikuar detajet e nje kodi sekret te perdorur per te mbrojtur bisedat telefonike te me shume se 4 bilione perdoruesve te celulareve.

Karsten Nohl, ne bashkepunim me eksperte te tjere, ka kaluar 5 muajt e fundit duke gjurmuar alegoritmin e perdorur per te koduar telefonatat permes teknologjise GSM.

Zbulimi mund t’i lejoje kujtdo, perfshire krimineleve, qe te pergjojne biseda telefonike private.

Nohl deklaroi ne Kongresin e Komunikimit ne Berlun se puna e tij tregon se siguria e ofruar nga GSM eshte e papershtatshme.

“Ne po perpiqemi te informojme njerezit per kete pike te dobet. Ne shpresojme te krijojme me shume presion dhe te bindim perdoruesit e telefonit qe te kerkojne kodifikim me te mire”, ka deklaruar Nohl.

Shoqata e teknologjise GSM, e cila projektoi alegoritmin dhe parashikon zhvillimin e standartit te saj, ka deklaruar se puna e zotit Nohl mund te jete teresisht ilegale.

Por shkencetari ka theksuar se eshte keshilluar me shume avokate para se te publikonte rezultatet e kerkimit te tij.
