Dielli ka qenë objektivi i një studimi 3-vjecar të shkencëtarëve të agjencisë amerikane të hapësira, NASA.

Falë teleskopit SDO ( Solar Dynamics Observatory) NASA regjistroi për 36 muaj me radhë aktivitetin e yllit tonë. Në gjithë këtë periudhë janë kapur shpërthimet dhe stuhite diellorë si dhe qetësitë e përkohëshme në sipërfaqen e tij në vitin 2011.
