Shpejtesia me te cilen ndodhi perplasja rreth 3.8 miliarde vjet me pare mund te shpjegoje ndryshimet ne siperfaqe dhe brendesine e dy sateliteve te Jupiterit, Callisto-s dhe Ganimed-it.

Sipas “Southwest Research Institute”, dy henat natyrore te planetit me te madh te sistemit tone diellor jane te ngjashme ne permasa dhe perbehen nga akulli e shkembi. Por te dhenat e marra nga sonda Galileo tregojne se ata jane shume te ndryshem si ne strukture ashtu edhe ne siperfaqe. Deri tani askush nuk kishte arritur te shpjegonte shkencerisht kete ndryshim.

Impaktet e para 3.8 miliarde vjeteve kane caktuar perberjen e dy sateliteve. Nje e dhene tjeter interesante eshte se Jupiteri u ka bere dem dy henave per shkak te forces se madhe terheqese, e cila ka arritur te thithe shume kometa qe jane perplasur me henat e tij. Ganimedi eshte me afer planetit, prandaj ka qene shenjester me e lehte, dyfish me shume se Callisto.

Keto kushte te ndryshme kane bere qe edhe energjia e shperndare te mos jete e njejte per te dy satelitet. “Ashtu si toka e Aferdita, edhe keto dy hena jane evoluuar ne menyre te ndryshme”, thekson nje shkencetar.
