Werder Bremeni ka arritur të angazhojë sulmuesin e Chelsat, Claudio Pizarro, i cili sezonin e kaluar me sukses përmbylli huazimin te po ky klub.

Klubi gjerman arriti marrëveshje me blutë për të angazhuar sulmuesin peruan, i cili rikthehet në klubin e Bundesligës, kësaj here si i përhershëm. 30-vjeçari shënoi 17 gola sezonin e kaluar dhe ndihmoi Werderin ta fitojë Kupën e Gjermanisë.

Pizarro ishte pjesë e Werderit edhe në periudhën nga viti 1999 deri në vitin 2001, pas të cilës u transferua në Bayern Munich.
