Një zemër artificiale e një gjenerate të re e kontrolluar nga interneti, e cila lejon të monitorojë në kohë reale dhe në distancë gjendjen shëndetësore të pacientit, tashmë është realitet.

Mesa duket kjo nuk përbën më ndonjë çudi, pasi ky proces është realizuar për herë të parë në Itali, nga një ekip i kryesuar nga mjeku Etore Vitali në klinikën “Humanitas di Rozzano”.

Pacienti, një zotëri 65 vjeçar, pas një kontrolli rutinë, superoi kontrollin mjekësor dhe tashmë është mjaftë mirë, duke u kthyer në shtëpi në gjendje normale.

Deri tani, zemra artificiale është vendosur me mjaftë sukses në 18 pacientë në të gjithë botën.
