Xhiroskopi në esencë është një unazë (rrotë) që rrotullohet.
Emri i Xhiroskopit vie nga greq. giro - rrotullim, dhe skopos -
shikues (vëzhgus)

Nëse dikush e len një xhiriskop në tavolinë, pa e rrotulluar, ajo bie anash,p
por kur ai rrotullohet , ai i reziston forcës së gravitacionit dhe qëndron ashtu si e len.
Tek kur të ndalet, ajo prap bie anash.

Ajo e din, deri sa është duke u rrotullar se ku është lartë
dhe është poshtë , gjë që atë e ka bërë instrument shumë
preciz në për navigim në Hapësirë.


p.s. në fakt ky fenomen mund të ishte edhe shpjegimi se si krijohet
Gravitacioni dhe se ajo nuk do të ishte gjë tjetër
veç se pasojë e rrotullimit të objekteve.
