Temperaturat e larta dhe vapa, që po ndihet në të gjithë Europën, prej më shumë se një jave, kanë ndikim edhe tek insektet e kafshët. Një studim italian ka arritur në përfundimin, se në ditët e vapës afrikane, bletët fluturojnë më pak, janë më të stresuara dhe nuk arrijnë që të mbledhin nektarin e duhur nga lulet. Po kështu, lopët, në ditë shumë të nxehta prodhojnë 15% më pak qumësht, se në ditët normale, kur temperaturat luhaten mes 22 dhe 24 gradë celcius.
