Kena ujë , mal edhe fushë
Bukuri kem me bollek
Hedhi syt ti nga te dushë
N’Shkoder kan menen hardhek

Na si knojm veç lule bors
Ça shef syni na knon zemra
Askergja nuk lajm mas dors
Kangt ma t’bukra knum per femra

Ne vend t’par e kena venin
Nji si Shkodra se gjen kun
Na me pas vetem liqenin
Tetan boten e lajm n’fun

Nuk e kena larg as detin
Prej n’kala munesh me e pa
Nuk po dona me mburr vedin
Por si Shkodra nuk gjen ma

Nuk e kena larg as malin
Bukuria gjithkah shnrit
Kur e mlon bora Cukalin
Ne na mush me ajr mushknit

Shkodra asht porsi nji prrall
Mylli syt edhe anrra
Nga do bots me ju sjell verdall
Nuk gjen vende si tek na
