Quhet Sox2 por mund te quhet ndryshe edhe “proteina e kujtimeve”. Kjo lloj proteine eshte pergjegjese per zhvillimin e hiperfushes qe ruan kujtesen.

Studimi eshte publikuar ne revisten “Nature Neuroscience” nga Silvia Nicolis, pedagoge e Univeristetit Milano Bicocca. Sox2 eshte e afte te prodhoje molekulat-sinjal te perfshira ne procesin e mirembajtjes se qelizave neurale edhe pas lindjes.

Ky zbulim mund te hape rrugen per studimin e tumoreve celebrale dhe kurimin e tyre.
