Analistët e kompanisë IDC për vitin e ardhshëm parashohin rritje të fuqishme të internetit mobil, mirëpo rritjen më të madhe e parashohin për dyqanin online AppStore të kompanisë Apple i cili ofron aplikacione për celulari e popullarizuar iPhone.
Sipas të dhënave të IDC-së, numri i aplikacioneve në AppStore po rritet për 900 për qind, derisa deri në fund të vitit të ardhshëm numri i përgjithshëm i aplikacioneve do të duhej të trefishohej deri në 300.000 aplikacione.
