Për të apasionuarit pas shijeve pikante, vjen pica më e “nxehtë” në botë, e prezantuar gjatë një konkursi të quajtur “Death by Pizza” (Të vdekur pas pizave), ku një grup shijuesish kanë tentuar ta provojnë. Elementi kryesor i picës është speci djegës “Scorpione di Trinidad”, i cilësuar si një prej specave më pikantë në botë, pasi ka shkaktuar edhe goditje në zemër te persona të ndryshëm. Veçantia e këtij speci është se mund të bëjë edhe gjuhën gjak madje mund të shkaktojë skuqje, si dhe pika gjaku përgjatë gojës. Ideatori i kësaj pice është James Broderick nga Britania e Madhe, i cili përdor dorashka të posaçme për të përgatiture picën.
