Shfletuesi i internetit nga Opera për pajisje të vogla mobile do të duhej të jetë i pranishëm edhe në platformën Android të kompanisë Google.

Kryeshefi ekzekutiv i Opera Software, Jon von Tetzchner ka paralajmëruar se shfletuesi i tyre i internetit për pajisje të vogla mobile do të jetë i pranueshëm edhe në Android, mirëpo nuk e ka precizuar kohën se kur do të mund të ndodhë kjo gjë.

Aktualisht shfletuesi Opera Mobile është i pranishëm vetëm në sistemet operative Windows Mobile e Symbian, derisa përdoruesit e Android e Blackberry do të kufizohen në Opera Mini.

Edhe pse në Android ekziston një shfletues bukur i mirë i bazuar në WebKit, Opera Mobile ofron një varg përparësish dhe dallohet për shpejtësinë e madhe të punës.
