Derën lëre hap, mos e mbyll,
Të mos shqetësohet buzëqeshja,
Të rrijë në pritje, të ardhjes tënde,
Të thotë; mos u fshi pas derës, por hyr!

Kur të kthehesh,
Mos trokit në derë, është e hapur,
Mos u trishto se e gjen të boshatisur,
U mërzit buzëqeshja duke të pritur,
U largua edhe ajo një ditë, pa adresë,
Për të kërkuar ty, apo u ndje e braktisur....
