Ky është një vend misterioz hasur në kontinentin ishull te Antarktides. Njerëzit e kane emertuar atë " lugina e thatë e pa mbuluar me borë ."

Antarktida është një vend me më pak banorë,por me disa ngjarje dhe fenomene te pashpieguara,qe per per vizitoret ngelen mister.Ky territor ose lugine pa bore,ben pjese ne siperfaqen prej rreth 14 milionë kilometrash katrorë të sipërfaqes totale të kontinentit Antarktik,qe janë te mbuluara me dëborë.

Kur shihet nga lartë,pjesa qendrore e pllajës se Antarktides është si një tenxhere e mbuluar me kapak. Sipërfaqja e saj eshte e mbuluar me borë me trashësinë duke arritur 2000m dhe ndonjëherë mund të arrijë trashësinë deri në 4800 m.

Në dimër, bora përreth kombinon me akullin nga deti për të formuar një pllajë të qetë, të madhe për të cilat njerëzit vështirë se mund të bëjnë dallimin në mes të tokës dhe detit.

Por per pjesen e tokes se pa mbuluar me akull dhe bore,s'ka nje pergjigje shkencore te dhene,pse ketu nuk bie bore..?Misteri vazhdon,brenda kufijeve hamndesore,por diku thuhet se nje temperature e ngritur e tokes nga nje vullkan i pa shperthyer,mund te beje qe territori te jete i ''zbuluar'' nga borerat
