MAVI: The Greek Government Terrorist Organisation.

Public Order Minister Stelios Papathemelis said yesterday the
arrest of the seven people on Sunday was a "great success for
Greek authorities." He said after the arrests, 11 homes were
raided by police in Athens and that copies of the "Liberation
Front of Northern Epirus" (MAVI) statement claiming
responsibility for a border camp raid last year were found. MAVI
had assumed responsibility for the incident in Episkopi in which
two Albanian soldiers were killed in April last year, in a
proclamation to the Athens daily Eleftherotypia.
