Missi i shteteve arabe për vitin 2009, Muwaddu Nour, vetëm pak kohë pasi është shpallur si vajza më e bukur në këtë garë të bukurisë, është ballafaquar me kritika të mediave për peshën e saj.

E pashmja Muwadda nga Arabia Saudite, peshon hiç më pak se 90 kilogramë. Gazetarët e një portali të popullarizuar arab, thonë se ajo “nuk i ka plotësuar standardet e bukurisë”.

Megjithatë, Muwaddu është shpallur miss me vendim unanim të jurisë, duke mposhtur kështu në konkurrencë 15 bukuroshe të moshës 18 deri në 24 vjeç.

Vajzat kanë mundur të paraqiten me ose pa ferexhe, mirëpo në vend të kostumeve të larjes, ato kanë veshur kostume tradicionale të shteteve prej nga vijnë.
