Aksidentoi për vdekje një 45-vjeçar janarin e vitit të kaluar, por kërkon të mos dënohet me burgim, pasi është shumë e shëndoshë për t’u burgosur.

Me këtë arsyetim, avokati i Linda Jenns, një 49-vjeçare britanike mbipeshë, i kërkoi gjykatës ta kursente klienten e tij.

“Ajo është shumë mbipeshë dhe që prej aksidentit është shëndoshur edhe më tej. Nëse do të dënohej me burg, do të ishte e papërballueshme për të dhe nuk mendoj se e teproj po të them që nuk do të dilte e gjallë prej qelisë”, argumentoi avokati.

Gjykata pritet të japë vendimin brenda dy javëve, pas analizave mjekësore ndaj të pandehurës. Pavarësisht rezultatit të tyre, gjyqtari tha se burgu është thuajse i pashmangshëm.
