Papunësia në vendet e Eurozonës ka arritur shifrën rekord prej 11.9 përqind. Sipas shifrave zyrtare nga Eurostat të publikuara sot, papunësia në 17 vendet që përdorin monedhën e përbashkët arriti shfirën rekord prej 11.9 përqind në muajin janar, ose më saktë 19 milionë persona të papunë.

Si zakonisht, nivelin më të lartë të papunësisë e ka Greqia me 27 përqind dhe Spanja me 26.2 përqind, ndërsa Austria dhe Danimarka kanë nivelin më të ulët të papunësisë me 4.9 përqind dhe 5.3 përqind. Në total në të gjithë Bashkimin Europian numri i të papunëve është 26 milionë e 217 mijë persona.
