Shkencetaret kane arritur te vezhgojne per here te pare te ashtuquajturen “linja e hekurt” tek Dielli.

Rezultatet e marra pas studimeve te NASA-s dhe nje grupi shkencetaresh nga Hawaii jane publikuar ne revisten “Astrophysical Journal”. Behet fjale per nje hap te rendesishem perpara, pasi u vezhgua pjesa e jashtme e atmosferes se Diellit qe shtrihet ne mijera km dhe eshte e dukshme vetem gjate eklipseve diellore totale.

Vezhgimet jane bere nga teleskopet tokesore gjate eklipseve te ndodhur ne vitet 2006, 2008 dhe 2009. Imazhet kane koontribuar per te kuptuar me mire Diellin dhe ciklet e dhunshme te tij. Ne pjesen e kurores eshte vene re edhe nje prani e madhe jonesh.
