Fitore historike e boksierit shqiptar Kreshnik Qato, i cili eshte shpallur kampion bote per versionin WBF te peshave te mesme.


Boksieri me origjine nga Durresi eshte mbeshtetur nga mijera emigrante shqiptare ne Havard te Uashingtonit ku mundi vendasin David Estrada, i cili u rezistoi grushteve te shqiptarit deri ne raundin e gjashte.

Shqiptare te Amerikes te ardhur nga Nju Jork, Boston dhe Filadelfia kane festuar gjate me flamuj kuqezi pas kesaj fitoreje historike. “Kjo ishte ndeshja me e bukur ne jeten time sportive. Fitoren ia dedikoj flamurit shqiptar, te gjithe shqiptareve ne bote”, u shpreh Qato pas perballjes ne ring.

Ne festen e fitores, mes shume simpatizanteve shqiptare merrte pjese edhe ambasadori shqiptar ne Uashington, Kreshnik Collaku.
