ADN-ja eshte fotografuar per here te pare ne nje format 3 dimensional.

Fija dyshe qe ndodhet ne nje hapesire mikroskopike me diameter 1 te qindat e nje milimetri, e vendosur ne qelize, tashme ka nje pamje te sakte per te gjithe shkencetaret. ADN-ja eshte e prirur te formoje nje strukture gjeometrike me shkalle te ndryshme.

Zbulimin e kane bere shkencetaret “Massachusetts Institute of Technology” ne Boston te Shteteve te Bashkuara te Amerikes. Sipas revistes “Science”, gjysma e globusit e ndertuar nga gene, ne nje moment te caktuar eshte ne funksion te qelizes. Struktura 3 dimensionale eshte thelbesore per te rregulluar aktivitetin e geneve.


“ADN-ja permban nje sasi te madhe informacioni, miliarda here me te madhe se sa nje hard disk kompjuteri”, shprehet profesor Job Dekker, sipas te cilit, nuk ishte e qarte se si arrinte te mbante kaq shume informacion ne nje hapesire kaq te vogel.

Celesi per ta zbuluar kete mister ishte perdorimi i teknikes se quajtur “Hi-C” qe konsiston ne mbledhjen e copave te shperndara te nje qelize dhe me pas ne bashkimin e tyre nepemjet metodes kompjuterike.
